Cooperative reading strategy instruction

For my English Reading, cooperative reading strategy instruction is the best way more than the cramming. We made a small group and discussed article with classmates at school. At first, we feel this is a new challenge for us. For example, Password 3 has a lot vocabulary and we have to do English homework every week, but we still can not understand what the author wants to say. As for Password 3 textbook, we start to read a new article and try to explain it. We are finding topic and using visualization to explain what author main idea is. Sometime we can look at the pictures on the pages of the article, then make a hypothetical question. Making the flash cards, which is helpful for us to learn English vocabulary fastly. We also discuss some details with classmates about topic or paragraph. To sum up, cooperative reading strategy instruction can help us know that studying English is not boring, it is more interesting instead funny.
